Delta sites make CO’s Most Endangered list

No historic site in Delta County has ever been named to the state’s list of Most Endangered Places. But on February 7, 2013, at the Saving Places Conference in Denver, both the Hotchkiss Barn and three historic sites in Escalante Canyon were named among the top five.

Here are links to the CBS Channel 4 video that was shown at the Colorado Preservation Inc Conference:

The program is administered by Colorado Preservation Inc.

Let’s capitalize on the great press and help get these properties restored. and have a plan for future maintenance. We want them to remain as part of the landscape for future generations to interpret.

I want to personally thanks those folks that were able to attend the luncheon and show your support for these very special structures.

Many thanks,
Chris Miller, executive director, IAWC
